Summary
Naturism as a social movement was introduced to Greece in the late twenties, facing resistance from authorities and social conditions. Over the years, the movement progressed, facing challenges from the Church of Greece, and eventually led to the establishment of official naturist clubs, campsites, and the passing of a bill permitting the operation of naturist centers in 1983.
