Summary
Yugoslavia's Adriatic coast attracted naturists due to its climate, and despite a communist ban on organized naturism, it now boasts some of the world's finest naturist resorts. The initial search for nude-friendly spots was conducted by German, Austrian, and Swiss naturists from 1930s onwards, and evolved into 33 locations with extensive accommodations, making it a leading destination for naturist vacationers.
