Summary
The study aimed to investigate the impact of naturism on children by conducting two cross-sectional studies with adults and children. The results showed that childhood experiences of nudity were correlated with positive outcomes in terms of body appreciation, self-esteem, and overall adjustment. Despite public concerns about negative effects, the findings suggested that naturism does not generally lead to negative consequences for children, indicating potential benefits of exposure to non-sexual nudity.
