Summary

The study aimed to explore how individuals manage their sexuality while practicing naturism in the UK. Thirty-nine self-identified naturists were interviewed, and it was found that sexuality is often suppressed through various means, but some participants sought out more sympathetic naturist environments to explore and enjoy their sexuality. The study suggests that naturist environments offer a unique space to explore sexuality and may have implications for sexual health policy and promotion.
