Summary
In late fall of 2015, proposed changes to Oregon state forest regulations included banning simple nudity, prompting nudist/naturist organizations like AANR and NAC to mobilize against the rule change, encouraging feedback and participation in public meetings. After receiving 175 objections and no support for the rule proposal, the Oregon Department of Forestry decided not to adopt the changes, crediting the testimony and collaboration of the nudist and naturist communities.
