Summary
The Fremont Fair in Seattle features the popular Solstice parade, known for its wild and creative floats and the tradition of the Solstice Cyclists, who strip down and paint their bodies to unofficially start the parade. A documentary film, "Beyond Naked," explores the fear and fascination with nakedness through the lens of Seattle’s traditions, featuring the stories of individuals who rode bikes naked in the parade. The film won "Best Documentary" at Seattle’s True Independent Film Festival in 2013 and is available for streaming on vimeo.com or screening inquiries at http://www.beyondnakedfilm.com.
