Summary
A study aimed to determine if a nudity-based intervention could positively impact body image, self-esteem, and life-satisfaction among non-nudist participants with low levels of positive body-image. Fifteen participants underwent a 4-day nudity-based intervention and reported substantial improvements in all three outcomes, which remained one month after the intervention's completion. The study concluded that nudity-based interventions can effectively and enduringly improve body image and related outcomes, even among non-nudists.
